Yesterday was my phone's second b'day anniversary, its an Ericsson T-230, not too fancy, but definitely amongst the crummier versions. Mr. Ericsson was probably having a bad day when he approved the model. Trouble at home or something of the sort. You can never tell with these big-wigs.
So, like, my roomies 'n me decided to celebrate in style. We decked up the room with sand from the field, rainwater from the windows, smell from the neighbours, and messy clothes from our cupboards, organised coffee and egg-maggi, put on some jazzy filmi numbers, decked ourselves up in our very best pyjamas, spritzed on some Dabur Amla hair oil, and danced merrily around the room reciting Happy Birthday in various accents, but the phone had had a rough day, so it just popped an aspirin and switched itself off. Something about a Nokia N91 and Tri-band technology and something. Oh well. I guess i'd better tell Prabh to keep his phone in his pocket when he's in my room from now on. Atleast till I get the ericsson re-laminated. I think that might be whats causing all this trouble. Ego issues and all. You really never know.
But hey, atleast its better than last time when One Year Old Eric claimed that it was a product of evolving technology and seedy korean manufacturing plants, and tried to sue Motorola for using the same Switch-off key. Thank god its lawyer managed to convince it to visit re-hab for the weekend instead. Its expensive enough managing its Prepaid Talk-Time Recharge Coupons (tm) and whatnot. I think its time i reverted back to pigeons. Atleast they dont charge you extra on roaming!
